Blemish-prone skin: a gentle routine from the maquis

Oily or blemish-prone skin is often over-cleansed, over-scrubbed and over-dried. Above all, it needs gentleness and regularity. Here is a simple routine, with the plants of the maquis.

Good habits

  • Cleanse morning and evening, without rubbing.
  • Do not multiply products.
  • Do not touch blemishes.
  • Protect your skin from the sun.

Our gentle routine

  1. Cleanse with the butterfly lavender soap, working up a lather between your hands, then rinse with lukewarm water.
  2. Mist the butterfly lavender floral water with your eyes closed, and let it absorb without wiping. Its label recommends it for oily or blemish-prone skin.
  3. Nourish lightly, if your skin feels tight: one or two drops of Immortelle oil, avoiding blemished areas.

To avoid

  • Repeated scrubs, which irritate the skin.
  • Pure essential oil applied directly to the skin.

When to see a professional?

If blemishes are numerous, painful or persistent, ask a dermatologist: a cosmetic routine does not replace their advice.

Our products are for external use only. Avoid contact with the eyes, keep them out of reach of children and stop using them if irritation occurs. Because of the essential oils, several products are not recommended during pregnancy: check the label. These beauty tips do not replace the advice of a health professional.
